In July, vehicle registrations in United States fell by 3.91% with respect to July of 1987. In total, 1,302,800 cars were registered and 15,765,300 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 0.27% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of July is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 446,800, 0.73% less than in July of 1987.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 856,000, which represents a figure of 5.49% less than in July of 1987.
