In February, vehicle registrations in United States fell by 13.87% with respect to February of 1988. In total, 1,127,300 cars were registered and 15,557,700 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 0.2% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of February is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 381,700, 10.88% less than in February of 1988.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 745,600, which represents a figure of 15.32% less than in February of 1988.
