The annual variation rate of the CPI in Nigeria in December of 2019 was 12%, 1 tenth higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.9%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2019 is 12%

We must highlight the increase of 1% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 14.6%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of 0.5%, and an interannual variation of 7.7%.
