Nigerians CPI increased up to 34.2% year-on-year in June of 2024

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Nigeria in June of 2024 was 34.2%, 2 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 2.3%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2024 is 16.6%

We must highlight the increase of 2.7% in the prices of Restaurants and hotels, until its interannual rate reached 29.7%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Communication of 0.1%, and an interannual variation of 2.6%.
