Interest rates go down in United States

United States has lowered its interest rates by 0.25 percentage points, from 2.25% to an annual rate of 2%.

The key rates a tool used by Central Banks to implement monetary policy.

This change is the first to have taken place since on December20th 2018, when the Central Bank lowered interest rates by 0.25 percentage points to 2.25%.
