Brazil: CPI goes up in February of 2013

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Brazil in February of 2013 was 6.8%, 2 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.5%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2013 is 1.4%

We must highlight the increase of 4.5% in the prices of Education, until its interannual rate reached 7.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of -2.4%, and an interannual variation of 2.5%.
