In 2020 China public debt was 8,863,574 million euros10,115,837 million dollars, has increased 1,531,3151,906,654 million since 2019.
This amount means that the debt in 2020 reached 68.06% of China GDP, a 10.82 percentage point rise from 2019, when it was 57.24% of GDP.

The position of China, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2020 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 116 in the list of debt to GDP and 132 in debt per capita, out of the 191 we publish.
