In 2019 Colombia public debt was 151,103 million euros169,160 million dollars, has decreased 4329,803 million since 2018.
This amount means that the debt in 2019 reached 52.32% of Colombia GDP, a 1.26 percentage point fall from 2018, when it was 53.58% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Colombia debt. It has risen since 2009 in global debt terms, when it was 59,043 million euros 82,353 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 35.39%.
According to the last data point published, Colombia per capita debt in 2019 was 3,000 euros3,358 dollars per inhabitant. In 2018 it was 3,041 euros 3,591 dollars, afterwards dropping by 41 euros 233dollars, and if we again check 2009 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,313 euros1,831 dollars .
The position of Colombia, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2019 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 93 in the list of debt to GDP and 104 in debt per capita, out of the 189 we publish.
