In 2015 China public debt was 4,154,738 million euros 4,609,682 million dollars, has increased 990,063405,411 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 41.07% of China GDP, a 1.15 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 39.92% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of China debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 483,689 million euros 601,758 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 26.1%.
According to the last data point published, China per capita debt in 2015 was 3,022 euros3,353 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 2,314 euros 3,074 dollars, afterwards rising by 708 euros279 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 370 euros460 dollars .
The position of China, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 73 in the list of debt to GDP and 111 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
