Uganda is at the 33º position of the Global Right to Information Rating

The transparency law of Uganda has been in force since 2005 and with it has earned 96 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Uganda is ranked 33, as its transparency law adequately guarantees access to information, when compared with other countries.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
