Kyrgyzstan - Religions

Islam, with 80.02% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 98%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Kyrgyzstan population, has remained to 98%. As to Islam has not change, the previous survey recorded 80.02% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 80.02% follow it.

The Kyrgyzstan’s second-largest religion is Christianity, accounts for about 14% of the population.
