The latest survey data indicate believers share of Laos population, has increase to 98.89%. As to Buddhism it has decreased, the previous survey recorded 67.79% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 67.73% follow it.
Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in Laos, accounts for about 27.5% of the population.
