Suicides fell in Montenegro

By 2007, suicides in Montenegro increased by 3 people to at 72 suicides

In Montenegro there were 11.66 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, above the world average of 10 suicides per 100,000 people.

Of the 72 recorded suicide cases in 2007, 49 were men suicides and 23 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 16.23 per 100,000 men and for women 7.21 per 100,000 female.

Statistics show that in 2014, suicides were the main cause of unnatural death in the world. In Montenegro suicide also is one of the leading causes of unnatural death. By comparison, there were 12 homicides in Montenegro, the number of suicides far outnumber homicides. For every homicide there were 6 suicides.
