Liberia - Intentional self-harm

In 2004 occurred 234 suicides in Liberia. This year, 4 more people committed suicide than in 2003.

Liberia had 7.46 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, less than the average suicide in the world, of 10.53 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Of the 234 recorded suicide cases in 2004, 182 were men suicides and 52 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 11.81 per 100,000 men and for women 3.3 per 100,000 female.
