Libya - Intentional self-harm

In 2015 occurred 347 suicides in Libya. This year, 33 fewer people committed suicide than in 2014.

Libya had 5.5 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, much less than the average suicide in the world, of 9.51 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Of the 347 recorded suicide cases in 2015, 266 were men suicides and 82 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 8.44 per 100,000 men and for women 2.69 per 100,000 female.
