In Lebanon there were 2.43 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, much less than the average suicide in the world, of 10.34 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Lebanon, has a relatively low rate of suicide per inhabitants.

Of the 114 recorded suicide cases in 2005, 75 were men suicides and 39 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 3.25 per 100,000 men and for women 1.68 per 100,000 female.
