Uganda: CPI goes up in October of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Uganda in October of 2022 was 10.7%, 7 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.8%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 10%

We must highlight the increase of 3.6% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 22.2%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Transport of -1.6%, and an interannual variation of 7.5%.
