Uganda: CPI goes up in March of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Uganda in March of 2022 was 3.8%, 6 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.8%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 1.5%

We must highlight the increase of 3.8% in the prices of Furniture, household equipment and maintenance, until its interannual rate reached 13.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Communication of -0.9%, and an interannual variation of -2.4%.
