Türkiye: CPI goes up in April of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Türkiye in April of 2022 was 70%, 89 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 7.3%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 31.7%

We must highlight the increase of 13.4% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 89.1%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Miscellaneous goods and services of 0.9%, and an interannual variation of 58.7%.
