In January, vehicle registrations in United States grew by 3.4% with respect to January of 1991. In total, 867,800 cars were registered and 12,558,900 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 9.09% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of January is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 307,300, 7.94% more than in January of 1991.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 560,500, which represents a figure of 1.06% more than in January of 1991.
