In March, vehicle registrations in United States fell by 14.83% with respect to March of 1990. In total, 1,103,100 cars were registered and 13,477,200 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 9.02% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of March is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 372,800, 16.21% less than in March of 1990.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 730,300, which represents a figure of 14.11% less than in March of 1990.
