In December, vehicle registrations in United States grew by 7.66% with respect to December of 1992. In total, 1,152,700 cars were registered and 14,185,500 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 8.23% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of December is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 491,600, 19.84% more than in December of 1992.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 661,100, which represents a figure of 0.09% more than in December of 1992.
