In April, vehicle registrations in United States fell by 0.35% with respect to April of 1986. In total, 1,385,300 cars were registered and 16,068,400 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 2.84% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of April is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 454,000, 7.89% more than in April of 1986.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 931,300, which represents a figure of 3.92% less than in April of 1986.
