Ireland national debt goes up

In 2011 Ireland public debt was 189,727 million euros264,045 million dollars, has increased 45,49772,680 million since 2010.

This amount means that the debt in 2011 reached 110.4% of Ireland GDP, a 24.2 percentage point rise from 2010, when it was 86.2% of GDP.

If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Ireland debt. It has risen since 2001 in global debt terms, when it was 40,969 million euros 36,693 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 33.6%.

According to the last data point published, Ireland per capita debt in 2011 was 41,341 euros57,535 dollars per inhabitant. In 2010 it was 31,554 euros 41,866 dollars, afterwards rising by 9,787 euros15,669 dollars, and if we again check 2001 we can see that then the debt per person was 10,506 euros9,409 dollars .
