CO2 emissions in 2014 were 7.204 megatons, making Brunei is the 73th conutry in the ranking of countries for CO2 emissions, made up of 184 countries, in which the countries are ranked from least to most pollutant.
In addition to its total emissions of CO2 into the atmospher, which logically depend, among other variables, on the country's population, it is convenient to analyze the behavior of its emissions per inhabitant. In the table we see that per capita CO2 emissions in Brunei, have decreased in 2014, in which they have been 17.5 tons per inhabitant.
Brunei belongs to the group of countries that emit the most CO2 per inhabitant.
