Eritrea - Religions

Islam is the Eritrea's top religion, around 53% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 98.75%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Eritrea population, has increase to 98.75%. As to Islam it has also increased, the previous survey recorded 50% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 53% follow it.

Christianity is the second most practiced religion in Eritrea, accounts for about 45% of the population.
