Eritrea - Religions

Christianity is the Eritrea's top religion, around 57.5% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 98.72%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Eritrea population, has dropped to 98.72%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 45% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 57.5% follow it.

Islam is the second most practiced religion in Eritrea, accounts for about 40.12% of the population.
