Kenyans CPI increased up to 9.2% year-on-year in February of 2023

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Kenya in February of 2023 was 9.2%, 2 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.6%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2023 is 0.9%

We must highlight the increase of 1.2% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 13.3%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Transport of 0%, and an interannual variation of 12.9%.
