Ghana: CPI goes up in May of 2023

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Ghana in May of 2023 was 9.7%, 7 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 4.8%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2023 is 9.8%

We must highlight the increase of 6.2% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 15.3%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Transport of 1.4%, and an interannual variation of 2.1%.
