May of 2022 CPI went up in Ghana

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Ghana in May of 2022 was 27.6%, 40 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 4%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 19%

We must highlight the increase of 5.9% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 32.3%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Education of 0.8%, and an interannual variation of 4.2%.
