In August, vehicle registrations in United States grew by 2.7% with respect to August of 1994. In total, 1,365,200 cars were registered and 15,265,400 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 1.24% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of August is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 559,300, 2.25% more than in August of 1994.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 805,900, which represents a figure of 3.02% more than in August of 1994.
