In January, vehicle registrations in United States fell by 1.34% with respect to January of 1994. In total, 1,031,500 cars were registered and 15,383,700 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 7.46% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of January is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 450,200, 2.46% more than in January of 1994.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 581,300, which represents a figure of 4.09% less than in January of 1994.
