In May, vehicle registrations in United States grew by 3.28% with respect to May of 1994. In total, 1,427,500 cars were registered and 15,196,100 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 2.27% more than the year before.

- Passenger cars regitrations: 824,700, which represents a figure of 1.25% more than in May of 1994.
