In February, vehicle registrations in United States grew by 19.96% with respect to February of 1993. In total, 1,170,900 cars were registered and 14,510,500 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 10.42% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of February is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 472,300, 23.41% more than in February of 1993.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 698,600, which represents a figure of 17.73% more than in February of 1993.
