The transparency law of Russia has been in force since 2009 and with it has earned 98 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Russia is ranked 30, as its transparency law adequately guarantees access to information, when compared with other countries.
This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
