Panama is at the 28º position of the Global Right to Information Rating

The transparency law of Panama has been in force since 2002 and with it has earned 100 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Panama is ranked 28, as its transparency law adequately guarantees access to information, when compared with other countries.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
