The transparency law of Italy has been in force since 1990 and with it has earned 57 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Italy ranks at number 95, de los 100 del RTI Rating. It is one of the countries with legislation less prone to guaranteeing the right to information.
This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
