Ireland at No. 39 in the RTI Rating

The transparency law of Ireland has been in force since 1997 and with it has earned 92 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Ireland is now ranked 39 in the transparency ranking formed by 100 countries, meaning it is among those that must improve its laws in order to guarantee access to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
