CO2 emissions, in Cuba in 2014, have fallen 2.168 megatons, 7.46% compared to 2013.
CO2 emissions in 2014 were 26.913 megatons, making Cuba is the 107th conutry in the ranking of countries for CO2 emissions, made up of 184 countries, in which the countries are ranked from least to most pollutant.
In addition to its total emissions of CO2 into the atmospher, which logically depend, among other variables, on the country's population, it is convenient to analyze the behavior of its emissions per inhabitant. In the table we see that per capita CO2 emissions in Cuba, have decreased in 2014, in which they have been 2.35 tons per inhabitant.
If you look at evolution f CO2 emissions per 1000 dollars of GDP, which measures, for the same country, the "environmental efficiency" with which it is produced over time. In the last period, Cuba, has emitted 0.1 kilos for every $ 1,000 of GDP, a lower figure than in 2013.
In the table we can see the evolution of CO2 emissions, which have grown in the last ten years, as have per capita emissions and, on the contrary, CO2 emissions per $ 1,000 of GDP.
However, in the last five years, total emissions have decreased in Cuba, as have emissions per capita, then the situation is improving.
