The latest survey data indicate believers share of Madagascar population, has dropped to 99.47%. As to Christianity it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 61.64% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 58.5% follow it.
Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in Madagascar, accounts for about 36.1% of the population.
