The latest survey data indicate believers share of Malawi population, has remained to 99.39%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 70.21% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 72.28% follow it.
Islam is the second most practiced religion in Malawi, accounts for about 14.6% of the population.
