Democratic Republic of the Congo reported 9.52 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, less than the average suicide in the world, of 10 self-harm per 100.000 people.
Of the 5,694 recorded suicide cases in 2007, 4,025 were men suicides and 1,668 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 13.49 per 100,000 men and for women 5.48 per 100,000 female.
