Life expectancy increases in Syria

In 2016 the life expectancy in Syria increased to 65.99 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 71.01 years and for men 61.57 years.

Syria’s position improvened with respect to the 194 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 146th in 2015 to 143th in 2016.
