Life expectancy decreases in Iceland

In 2016 the life expectancy in Iceland decreased to 82.2 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 84.1 years and for men 80.4 years.

Iceland’s position worsened with respect to the 194 countries we publish said data, dropping from the 9th in 2015 to 19th in 2016.

If we look at the change in life expectancy in Iceland over the past several years, we find that it is lower than in 2015, when it was 82.5 years, which is the opposite of what happens compared to 2006, when it was 81.2 years.
