Life expectancy improves in India

In 2023 the life expectancy in India increased to 72 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 73.6 years and for men 70.52 years.

India’s position was held this year in position 116th with respect to the ranking of 195 we publish life expectancy.

If we look at the change in life expectancy in India over the past several years, we find that it is higher than in 2022, when it was 71.7 years, which is the same of what happens compared to 2013, when it was 68.5 years.
