Life expectancy of China goes up to 77.22 years

In 2016 the life expectancy in China increased to 77.22 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 80.05 years and for men 74.58 years.

China’s position worsened with respect to the 194 countries we publish said data, dropping from the 53th in 2015 to 55th in 2016.

If we look at the change in life expectancy in China over the past several years, we find that it is higher than in 2015, when it was 76.98 years, which is the same of what happens compared to 2006, when it was 74.5 years.
