January of 2020 CPI went up in Lebanon

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Lebanon in January of 2020 was 10%, 30 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 2.1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2020 is 2.1%

We must highlight the increase of 6.2% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 14.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of -4.1%, and an interannual variation of 24.3%.
