Costa Rica: CPI goes up in May of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Costa Rica in May of 2022 was 8.7%, 15 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.4%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 5.5%

We must highlight the increase of 3.6% in the prices of Transport, until its interannual rate reached 20.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of -0.1%, and an interannual variation of 0.8%.
