Belgians CPI increased up to 8.3% year-on-year in March of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Belgium in March of 2022 was 8.3%, 3 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.5%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 3.4%

We must highlight the increase of 2.9% in the prices of Transport, until its interannual rate reached 11.2%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of -1.4%, and an interannual variation of 24.8%.
