Mongolia rises the national minimum wage

In 2013, the national minimum wage in Mongolia remained fixed at €104.6 per month, that is 1,255 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.

If we look at the minimum salary in Tugrik, which is the official currency in Mongolia, we can see that, this year, it was 192,000 Tugrik and accordingly, the national minimum wage has been raised 51,600 Tugrik per month from the previous year, 36.75%. This increase is greater than the CPI of 2012 which was 14%, so workers have gained buying power in the last year.

If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Mongolia is in 80 nd place, so it is among the countries with the lowest minimum salary of the 106 of the list.
